Refund policy

At Future Ferments, we take great care to ensure every order reaches you in perfect condition. Because our kombucha is a perishable food product, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges as a matter of course. However, your satisfaction matters to us and we will always do our best to make things right.

Order Cancellations

Changed your mind? No problem, we can issue a full refund provided your order has not yet been dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@futureferments.com with your order number. Once an order has been collected by our courier, we are unable to cancel it.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or otherwise faulty, please contact us at hello@futureferments.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the damaged items and packaging

Once we have reviewed your message, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience, once an order leaves us it is in the hands of our courier, things can occasionally go wrong in transit.

Missing Items

If any items are missing from your order, please get in touch at hello@futureferments.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and details of what is missing. We will investigate and send replacements or issue a refund promptly.

Taste or Quality Concerns

Kombucha is a naturally fermented, living product and its flavour can vary slightly between batches, this is part of what makes it special. If you have a genuine concern about the quality of your product (beyond personal taste preference), please reach out and we will do our best to help.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
